Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern access to and use of the Get sorted platform (sortedpro.ie). By creating an account or otherwise using the service, you accept these terms.

Customer Obligations and Job Completion

Get Sorted provides its platform to Customers free of charge. In consideration for this free service, the Customer strictly agrees to formally close the job request within the application once the work is completed or a final decision is made. Furthermore, the Customer agrees to provide an honest, objective review of the Professional's services. A job is not considered officially completed within the Get Sorted ecosystem until this review is submitted.

Privacy and Dispute Resolution

To ensure user safety, Customer contact details are hidden by default and are only shared with a Professional when the Customer explicitly approves the connection by clicking 'Hire'. The ultimate legal and financial responsibility for the resolution of any dispute lies solely with the Professional and the Customer.

1. General Provisions

1.1.
These Terms of Service (the "Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement made between you ("User") and GetSorted ("Company", "we", "us"), concerning your access to and use of the sortedpro.ie website and platform.
1.2.
By registering an account, posting a Job, or submitting a Bid, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1.3.
The Company reserves the right to make changes to these Terms at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance of those changes.

2. Definitions

User:Any individual or legal entity using the Platform.
Client:A User seeking local services.
Specialist (Pro):An independent contractor offering services.
Job:A specific request for services.
Bid:An offer submitted by a Specialist.
Public Profile:A directory page displaying a Specialist’s skills and reviews.
Review:Feedback left by Users.

3. Nature of the Platform & Limitation of Liability

3.1.
Informational Intermediary:GetSorted acts exclusively as an online software platform connecting Clients with independent Specialists.
3.2.
Independent Contractors:Specialists are third-party contractors, not employees of GetSorted.
3.3.
Exclusion of Liability:To the maximum extent permitted by Irish law, the Company shall not be liable for any damages arising from services performed, property damage, or interactions between Users.
3.4.
Dispute Resolution:All disputes must be settled directly between the Client and the Specialist.

4. Financial Terms and Premium Services

4.1.
Direct Payments:All financial transactions are conducted directly between the Client and the Specialist.
4.2.
Platform Fees:Basic registration is free for Clients. Specialists may be charged for platform access, premium positioning, or tokens.
4.3.
Pro Accounts:The Company may offer subscription-based "Pro Accounts" with specific billing terms disclosed at purchase.

5. User Conduct and Intellectual Property

5.1.
Prohibited Activities:Users agree not to engage in fraudulent behavior, post fake Reviews, or create duplicate accounts.
5.2.
User Content & License:By uploading content, you grant GetSorted a non-exclusive license to use it for platform operation and marketing.
5.3.
Moderation:The Company reserves the right to remove content and suspend accounts for violations.

6. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless GetSorted from claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Platform, violation of these Terms, or any claim that your actions caused damage to a third party.

7. Force Majeure

The Company shall not be liable for any failure to perform its obligations if such failure results from events beyond our reasonable control, including internet outages, cyberattacks, or natural disasters.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ireland. The courts of Ireland shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute.

9. Severability

If any provision is determined to be unlawful or unenforceable, that portion shall be deemed severed without affecting the validity of the remaining provisions.
