GetSorted (the "Company", "we", "us") acts as the Data Controller responsible for the collection and processing of your personal data under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. Data We Collect

When you use the Platform, we collect: Identification Data (First name, last name, email address, phone number); Specialist Profile Data (Photos, service descriptions, qualifications, reviews); Technical Data (IP address, browser type, device information, and cookies); Location Data (City or area of work to accurately match Jobs).

3. Legal Basis and Data Usage

We process your personal data strictly on the following legal bases: (a) Contractual Necessity: to create your account, manage your profile, and facilitate communication between Clients and Specialists; (b) Legitimate Interest: to monitor platform security, prevent fraud, and improve our services; (c) Consent: for sending promotional or marketing communications, which you can opt out of at any time.

4. Data Sharing and International Transfers

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. Your contact information is disclosed to another user ONLY after a Client has explicitly selected a Specialist for a Job. If we transfer personal data outside the European Economic Area (EEA) to our cloud service providers, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Policy or to comply with our legal obligations. If you request account deletion, your active profile will be removed immediately, and backups containing personal data will be securely and permanently erased within 30 days.

6. Your Privacy Rights (GDPR)

Under the GDPR, you have the absolute right to: Access (request a copy of your data); Rectification (correct inaccurate data); and Erasure / Right to be Forgotten (request complete deletion of your account and data).
